Image processing unit and Image inspection equipment

PC-10J

Position controller capable of linearly controlling the object parameters such as position and width.

Overview
  • This position controller permits the non-contact loop control, edge position control and width measurement in combination with a JB-series line scan camera.
  • It measures the pixel count of image sensor that corresponds to the shadow of the object to be measured and outputs the measured results with analog current or analog voltage.
  • It also output the 12-bit digital output. (11-bit in case of TL-2048SJ/HJ ) (Optional)
Features
  • It provides two analog output systems, the current output system and the voltage output system.
  • Equipped with a meter to monitor the output current.
  • There are three measurement modes.
    Mode A to output the width value between No.1 pixel and the first rising edge of video signal.
    Mode B to output the width value between the first falling edge of video signal and the pixel of largest bit.
    Mode C to output the width value between the first falling edge and the first rising edge of video signal.
  • Equipped with the dust cancel function.
  • Equipped with the alignment display function to easily collimate light axises of the light source and the camera.
  • Equipped with the calibration function to easily check the analog output.
  • It can output the digital output. (Optional)
Resolving power

The relationship between bit number and analogue output is as follows.

Bit number (Camera) Min.analog value Max.analog value Resolution Values per bit
2048 I = 4.00mA
V = 0.00V
I = 19.99mA
V = 9.99V
1/2048 0.0078mA/bit
0.0049V/bit
5000 *1 I =4.00mA
V = 0.00V
I = 20.00mA
V = 10.00V
1/4096 0.0039mA/bit
0.0024V/bit

*1. When connecting 5000 bit camera, the measuring area is automatically set and the measuring is made within the range of a maximum of 4096 pixels out of 5000 pixels.
