Progressive Scan Camera
Overview
- Progressive scan monochrome camera with 0.33 million pixel CCD capable of 30 fps readout, having built-in memory of which the amount is equivalent to one frame time.
- Easily-controlled by PC via a capture board as the internal circuit is digitally processed by embedded CPU.
- Can be used under optimum condition for each purpose of use as waveform shaping of video signal can be remotely made via RS232C communication.
Features
- The smear in high speed shutter mode is significantly reduced compared to the conventional camera as it adopts newly-designed interline transfer CCD.
- Video signal can be output both in progressive scanning format (non-interlaced format) or 2:1interlaced scanning format as the field memory is equipped
- When the external trigger signal is input, the image is reset in random timing (Asynchronous timing) and the electronic shutter image can be obtained at any given point in time. (Asynchronous shutter mode)
- Four kinds of video signal outputs are listed below.
- Analog video output in progressive scanning format
- 8 bit parallel digitized video output in progressive scanning format
- Analog video output converted into signal in 2:1 interlaced scanning format
- Digital video output converted into signal in 2:1 interlaced scanning format
- Setting of electronic shutter speed and switching of shutter mode etc. can all be made on the rear panel of the camera. Also they can be externally controlled connecting to PC via RS-232C interface.
