Overview
  • Progressive scan camera with 0.8/0.33 megapixel CCD capable of 15/30 fps readout.
  • Video signal is output in progressive scanning (non-interlaced scanning) format complying with Camera Link (Base configuration)
  • Lower prices have been realized by specializing in digital output and internal sync-only specifications.
  • End user-developed applications are available without change as it is highly-compatible with predecessors such as FC820 or FC320.
  • Various shutter operation modes such as continuous shutter mode or asynchronous shutter mode are usable like conventional cameras.
Features
  • Vertical resolution does not degrade even in electronic shutter operation as all pixels are read out independently by progressive scanning.
  • The exposure time in continuous shutter mode and asynchronous shutter mode is variable in eight steps starting from 1/10000sec(fastest shutter speed).
    Preset fixed mode, pulse width control mode and asynchronous shutter mode are available.
  • In long exposure mode, the exposure time can be set by the frame time starting from two frame time.
  • The trigger signal for strobe light is output from 12pin Camera connector in synchronization with the timing to release the shutter.
  • Double-speed scan mode is available in the continuous shutter mode.(FC820CL)
  • Three operation setting parameters can be stored in EEPROM.
  • Detailed camera setting can be made by serial communication via CameraLink interface (SerTC,SerTFG).
  • Compact size camera, a volume of which is 60% of conventional products.
